How It Works

From first call to lights on, here’s exactly how it goes.

Permanent house light installation is a simple, no-surprises process. Most homes go from quote to installed in about a week, and from ladder-free to app-controlled in a single day on site.

01

Free consultation

We look at your roofline, talk through the colors and scenes you want, and answer questions about the system and warranty — then send an exact, written quote. No ladder, no pressure, no cost.

We start by understanding your home

Every quote is based on your actual roofline — length, stories, peaks and dormers — not a guess. You'll know the real number before anything is scheduled.

Then we design it to disappear by day

We map the LED track to your home's trim so it reads as part of the architecture in daylight and lights up as a clean, even line at night. You approve the plan before install day.

02

Custom design

We plan track routing, color zones, and mounting points specific to your home. This is where "16 million colors" becomes your actual scenes — holidays, game day, everyday warm white.

03

Install day

Our crew handles ladders, channel routing, and hidden wiring, then cleans up completely. Most homes are finished in a single day — you don't need to be home for the bulk of it.

Install day is usually just one day

We bring the equipment, mount the track cleanly along the roofline and eaves, tuck the wiring out of sight, and leave your property the way we found it — just lit.

And we don't disappear afterward

Before we leave, we set up your app and walk you through scenes, schedules, and zones. We're local, so warranty questions go to the same team — not a call center.

04

Walkthrough & support

We get the app on your phone, show you how to change colors and set schedules, and make sure you're comfortable before we go. Then we're a phone call away for the life of the system.

What Install Day Looks Like

The details, up front

Crew & time

A professional crew, typically finishing an average home in a single day. Complex rooflines may run longer — we tell you in advance.

By roofline length

Duration scales with how much track your home needs. A simple ranch is quick; a long two-story with many peaks takes more time.

Power

The system runs off a standard exterior outlet with a low-draw transformer. No major electrical work for most homes.

Cleanup

We route wiring out of sight and leave your yard and gutters clean. You should only notice the lights, not the install.

Track mounting — why it's invisible by day

The aluminum track is color-matched to your trim and mounted tight to the roofline and eaves. In daylight it blends into the fascia; at night the diodes throw an even, professional line with no visible cords or clips.

A note on timing by season

Fall is our busiest stretch as homeowners get ready for the holidays, so booking earlier means more scheduling flexibility. But because the lights are permanent, there's no wrong time to install — spring and summer installs mean your system is ready and dialed in long before the first cold snap.

Install FAQ

What homeowners ask before install day

How long does installation take?

Most homes are completed in a single day. Larger or more intricate rooflines can take longer, and we'll tell you exactly what to expect during your free consultation.

Do I need to be home for the install?

Not for most of it. We'll confirm the design and color plan with you up front, and you don't need to be present for the bulk of the installation work.

Is the track visible during the day?

It's designed to disappear. We match the track to your home's trim and tuck it into the roofline and eaves so it reads as part of the house by day and lights up cleanly at night.

What do you need from me on install day?

Access to an exterior outlet and clear access to the roofline. We handle the rest — ladders, routing, wiring, and full cleanup before we leave.
